Henry Pleass is Professor of Surgery and head of Westmead Clinical School, part of the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a multi organ transplant surgeon, with particular interests in organ retrieval and pancreas transplantation. His research interests include the use of machine perfusion to rejuvenate DCD kidneys, as well as strategies to protect against ischaemia reperfusion injury.
