Dr. Shaf Keshavjee - Renowned for developing the low potassium dextran (LPD) lung preservation solution and the Toronto Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion (EVLP) system, Dr. Keshavjee's innovations have significantly enhanced the viability and utilization of donor lungs worldwide, making critical advancements in lung transplantation.
