Marlies Reinders (MD, PhD) is professor in Internal Medicine, Kidney Transplantation and head of the Department of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at the Erasmus MC. Her research focuses on translation of innovations in transplantation. She published on regenerative therapies (such as mesenchymal stromal cell) in kidney transplantation and is involved in projects for immunized patients and corona vaccination for patients. In addition, she is the founder of the MOOC Clinical Kidney Transplantation. She is chair of the Erasmus MC Transplant Institute.
