This symposium focuses on key issues and advancements related to CMV management in solid organ transplant recipients and is designed to provide participants with the newest data and approaches to CMV management. The session includes three talks from renowned experts in the field. Dr. Kotton will provide opening remarks and set the tone for the symposium. Prof. Humar from Canada will provide an overview of the current landscape of CMV in solid organ transplantation. Prof. Sester from Germany will then discuss controversies and challenges in clinical management of CMV. Dr. Vincenti from the US will present emerging clinical trial data and future directions in CMV management. The symposium will conclude with a panel discussion and Q&A session. Overall, the symposium aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges, advances, and future directions in CMV management for solid organ transplant recipients.
